Unseasonably warm December day

Charles St, Boston.

Just a couple of weeks before Christmas we had a beautiful 60 degree day.  I took the day off and went to Boston with a friend.  It was so nice we actually got to have lunch outside on Newbury Street, and dinner & drinks down at the newly developed waterfront area, Fort Point Channel.  I’m looking forward to exploring the area more thoroughly when the weather warms up.   The first picture above reminds me of the scene in The Godfather when Don Corleone is shot, and the oranges go rolling all around.   That one was taken on Charles Street.

So much to see and down by the water now, definitely check it out if you haven’t been:   Fort Point Channel.
